Automation Engine

Connect your tools, and automate the work between them.

Custom workflows, integrations, and AI implementation, built on n8n and Cargo. Three tiers, from a foundational automation setup to an ongoing partnership.

The tiers

Three tiers, designed to compound.

Start with the foundation and grow from there. Each tier builds on the one before it, so the system gets more capable without being rebuilt.

Foundation

Your tools, talking to each other.

Connect your existing tools and automate the data flows between them, with reliable handoffs, transactional email, and error handling built in.

  • Process audit and workflow mapping
  • Custom workflow automation (n8n) across your tools
  • Data sync and handoff automation between platforms
  • Transactional email infrastructure (Loops, Resend, Postmark)
  • Error handling and notification systems
  • Full documentation for adoption and reference

Generally completed within four weeks.

Scale

Intelligent automation.

Add AI, enrichment, and orchestration on top of the connections, for automations that make decisions, not just move data.

Everything in Foundation, plus:

  • AI-powered automation (classification, extraction, routing)
  • Data enrichment and lead scoring workflows (Cargo)
  • Lead qualification workflows
  • Lifecycle and nurturing email automation (Loops, Customer.io)
  • Analytics dashboards and automated reporting

Scoped after discovery.

Grow

An ongoing automation partnership.

Ongoing automation development as the business evolves, with new workflows, new integrations, and continuous optimization.

Everything in Scale, plus:

  • New workflows built as priorities shift
  • New integrations as business needs evolve
  • Revenue-focused automation (enrichment, pipeline, conversion)
  • Ongoing email infrastructure development
  • Proactive monitoring and optimization
  • Dedicated Slack channel for direct support
  • Quarterly strategy sessions

Minimum 6 months.

Moving from another automation platform? Migration support covers Zapier, Make, and custom-built workflows. Your existing automations are assessed during discovery to plan the best approach.

Automation-as-a-Service

Need a specific automation, not a full engagement?

Standalone automation deliverables built to your specifications. Useful when you have a clearly scoped need (one workflow, one integration, one process) and don't need a broader engagement.

FAQs

Questions, answered.

  • Foundation is for businesses whose tools are disconnected. If the team is manually moving data between platforms, missing handoffs, or duplicating work, Foundation connects everything with reliable workflow automation.
  • Scale is for businesses that need their automations smarter, not just connected: AI-powered workflows, data enrichment, lead scoring and qualification, and analytics dashboards. It adds intelligence and routing on top of the connections.
  • Grow is for businesses that need a dedicated automation partner: ongoing development of new workflows, revenue-focused automation, new integrations as the business evolves, and proactive monitoring.

Yes. You can transition between tiers as requirements evolve, from Foundation to Scale, or directly to Grow. We handle it through a conversation to assess the new needs and ensure a smooth transition, carrying forward all previous work and data.

  • Foundation projects are generally completed within four weeks, depending on the number of systems involved and the complexity of the data flows.
  • Scale projects vary with the scope of AI implementation and integration complexity. An estimated timeframe is provided after discovery.
  • Grow is an ongoing partnership with a minimum commitment of six months, rather than a one-time implementation.

Yes. Tiers are designed to be flexible. If your needs don't fit neatly into one tier, the best approach is discussed during discovery and scoped accordingly.

Yes. If you're migrating from Zapier, Make, or custom-built workflows, your existing automations are assessed during discovery to determine the best migration approach.

Yes. Transactional email (product and CRM event-triggered sends like receipts, magic links, and in-product notifications) is included from Foundation. Lifecycle and nurturing sequences (segmented onboarding, feature education, win-back, behavior-triggered drips) are included from Scale. Tooling is matched to the use case: Loops, Resend, Postmark, Customer.io, or equivalents. Sender infrastructure, templates, deliverability, and event-to-send wiring are all in scope.

Yes. Transactional and lifecycle email naturally live in the Automation Engine, but if it's more practical to bundle them into an existing engagement, for example a Revenue Engine setup where the lifecycle triggers come from Attio, that's arranged with a scope and price adjustment during discovery.

Only the Grow tier requires a minimum commitment of six months. Foundation and Scale are project-based, with no ongoing contract.

All tiers include support during setup via email and scheduled 30-minute weekly touchpoint calls. The Grow tier additionally includes ongoing support through a dedicated Slack channel and 2-hour quarterly strategy sessions.

Many businesses benefit from multiple engines, for example a Revenue Engine to set up Attio combined with an Operations Engine to structure ClickUp and an Automation Engine to connect them. Each engine works independently, but they are strongest as part of one integrated operational ecosystem. Multi-engine engagements are scoped during discovery.

Let's automate the busywork your best people shouldn't be doing.
